The Difference
First of all, our drivers are mature, safe and reliable and we offer the quickest form of vehicle delivery. Our drivers will pickup your vehicle at the location you specify and will drive it directly to your chosen destination.
Secondly, when your vehicle is driven across the border, you are able to fill it up with your personal belongings. When you put your car on a truck or train for delivery, customs will not allow you to have personal belongings in the vehicle.
Third, unlike other drive-away companies, we don't allow "strangers" to deliver your vehicle. We don't offer driving opportunities to people who are simply wanting cheap transportation to a particular location, instead, we utilize people whom we know to be responsible, mature and reliable who are sincerely interested in making the delivery for you, our customer. Our people value our customers and take great pride in delivering your vehicle in an expedient, safe and careful manner. Our drivers will monitor your vehicle's condition while en-route to the delivery address that you provide.
Because we make use dedicated people to drive your vehicle instead of vacationers, you are welcome to utilize all the space you need in your vehicle. All we ask is that you leave enough room for our driver to store a couple of small travel bags.
We are a registered carrier with US Customs and will provide all the necessary paperwork and manifest filing with customs in order to ensure a smooth border crossing. There is no charge for this service under normal circumstances.
Despite the fact that we offer our customers more in terms our service, and less in terms of our requirements, our prices remain highly competitive with other options.

What about "Wear and Tear"
There is no denying that driving your vehicle to and from Ontario and the Southern US will put a few extra miles on your odometer but this mileage is not the "wear and tear" that people often fear. In reality, highway miles are far less taxing on your vehicle than city driving. There aren't as many turns, stops and bumps, and there are far fewer "start-ups" on a trip such as this, and it is the "start-up" process that puts the most wear and tear on your engine. Some people actually believe it is beneficial to their vehicle to take it on a long run once or twice a year.
It is approximately 1330 miles to go from Toronto to Tampa Florida which is about the same number of miles the average person drives in a month. In terms of wear and tear, the drive to Florida is aproximately equivalent to about one weeks worth of city driving.
Some people mistakenly think that if they ship their vehicle by truck or by rail, it won't encounter any road hazards as it would if it were driven. Unfortunately this isn't always true. If you are planning to ship your vehicle by truck, make sure you hire a company that has covered vans, otherwise, your car is exposed to the same road hazards, such as small gravel chips and other natural substances (ie. hail) as it would be exposed to if it were being driven.
Similarly, vehicles riding on trains are also exposed to debris and other weather related exposures.
Vehicles shipped by truck or rail are also prone to small scuffs and scratches due to loading, securing and unloading practises.
